August Blog: Site and resources update

This month sees a new layout for the site as well as the first teaching of the 2028 curriculum!
New site layout
As you can see above - we have a new layout for the DP History site!
All the resources that were on the site before the changes are all still here but hopefully they are now easier to locate: there is a clear teacher section and a clear student section with e-book (containing the content and activities) and assessment section (with source and essay help as well as the sample assessments).
For students, the layout should also be more attractive and easier for them to navigate.
Navigating the site is explained more fully here on this page: How to navigate this site
Student Access: old and new curriculum
We have two student sections, one for the ‘old’ course and one for the new 2028 course.
For those of you using Student Access, your students will be registered only for the course they are doing and so they will only see the e-book and resources for that course:
- For all groups created prior to 1 June, it will be assumed that they are second year students and so they will automatically be given access to the old guide.
- For all groups created after 1st June you will be asked to confirm whether the group is following the new or old guide.
As a teacher you will always be able to see both sets of resources - for the existing and the new curriculum.
Please go to this section which has been updated with new instructions on how to set up Student Access
