December 2025 Updates and Notices
Welcome to the final Updates and Notices for 2025!
I hope this message finds you well. For those in November centres, I wish you and your students the very best with the upcoming IB exam results later this month. DP and CP students’ exam results will be available for schools via IBIS from 7pm GMT on Tuesday, 16th December 2025.
With Hanukkah and Christmas fast approaching, teachers may be interested in these two ATL activities created to engage students in their review and revision of key Business Management tools, theories, and concepts. You may be able to get some interesting and educational classroom displays from these too!

Inspired by the participants at the recent Category 1 IB Business Management Workshop in Barcelona, we have added this new activity called "The Dog and Bone". Whilst designed for Unit 2.6 (Communication), it can also be used to reinforce content knowledge of Unit 2.3 (Leadership and management) and Unit 4.5 (Promotion in the marketing mix). Details and instructions for "The Dog and Bone" activity can be found here.
Our collaboration with the Financial Times' “FT Schools” initiative has led to another new resource being published here about Games Workshop transforming Warhammer into a global entertainment powerhouse through vertical integration, strong branding, loyal communities, and expanding multimedia partnerships, such as Amazon. There are two sets of exam practice questions that you can access, along with mark schemes here.
All our collaborations with FT Schools include exam practice questions and full mark schemes for teachers.

Just a few days ago, I completed an in-school Category 2 Workshop focusing on the new Extended Essay, with 30 participants representing 16 different DP subjects. Watch this space for additional resources for the new Business Management Extended Essay from January 2026 onwards! Student Access
Subscribers are reminded that their students can gain free access to the InThinking Business Management website by activating Student Access from the homepage. At the time of writing, 28 482 Business Management students are registered on the website, all with complimentary access. You can also register other Business Management teachers at your school to have access to the site for no additional charge.

Whilst our monthly Newsletters will continue, why not stay ahead of the curve by joining us on LinkedIn for regular updates? Please feel free to join the 396 teacher-members here. We will be using LinkedIn a lot more for communication purposes in 2026.
At the time of writing, there 2297 teachers in our InThinking Business Management Facebook group who share questions, ideas, and resources on a regular basis. We also have 904 teachers in our highly active InThinking WhatsApp group. What we ask for is that all members check their WhatsApp privacy settings to ensure their full name and a suitable profile picture are on display - this is simply so that we all know who we are communicating with.
