June 2026 Updates and Notices

June 2026 Updates and Notices

Dear subscribers

Welcome to the June 2026 Updates and Notices!

In May, we reached a record 2924 teachers and 33 407 students across 120 countries using InThinking Business Management. Thank you everyone for your ongoing support of InThinking Business Management. We appreciate this very much.

Site updates

Some of the added contents to the InThinking Business Management website during the past month include:

  • A revision poster for Unit 1.3 about common business objectives here.
  • A new revision poster comparing and contrasting mission and vision statements (Unit 1.3) here.
  • As requested by teachers in our WhatsApp group, we have added a new revision poster focusing on the prescribed key concepts. Use this to help students with their IA as well as the new Extended Essay. The resource can be accessed here.
  • A poster outlining the IB's recommended structure for the Internal Assessment can also be downloaded here.
  • An updated EE Checklist for the new syllabus (first exams 2027) can be downloaded here. Please use this with students for their first and final draft.

This is what IB Educator Fady Nagi from Newton Free School, Georgia had to say about our new EE Checklist::

"I want to express my sincere gratitude for the checklist you created. It’s an exceptional tool that not only brings structure to our students’ work but truly empowers them to achieve their best. Your thoughtful effort will make a lasting impact, and I’m deeply thankful for the difference it’s making."

Thank you for your ongoing support, Fady!

New Quizlets

Our interactive Quizlet tasks are very popular with students. Additions during the past month include:

  • Unit 3.5 (Profitability ratios) here.
  • Unit 3.6 (Liquidity ratios) here.
  • Unit 3.8 (Investment appraisal) here.
  • Unit 5.6.7 (Cost to buy and Cost to make) here.

Many educators have incorporated Quizlet into their revision strategies, helping students to consolidate their understanding and build confidence in the lead-up to formative and summative assessments.

InThinking and FT Schools

Our latest collaboration pieces with FT Schools can be found here about the ongoing fuel crisis faced by the airline industry.

Teachers and students can access all blogs related with FT Schools for IB Business Management from the site page here on InThinking. All blogs contain exam practice questions, along with full mark schemes.

To access all of our other collaboration pieces with FT Schools, visit the FT website here (you may find it useful to bookmark this URL).

This is what IB educator Alfred Rasmussen, from Thuringia International School Weimar in Germany, had to say about our FT Schools blogs:

"These FT Schools blogs are excellent. They help students apply the course material to real world situations. Thank you."

Many thanks for your ongoing support, Alfred!
