April 2026 Updates and Notices

With IB exams starting at the end of this month (on 29th April for Business Management Paper 1 and Paper 3), subscribers are reminded that their students can gain free access to the InThinking Business Management website by activating Student Access from the homepage.

At the time of writing, we have a record number of 32 320 students registered on the website, all with complimentary access. 

Think-In CPD courses

A sincere thank you to all 77 teachers who joined us for the InThinking Business Management Think-In upskilling CPD courses, as well as the 15 participants who attended the Category 3 IB Business Management workshop, hosted by InThinking this March.

It was a pleasure working with such a dedicated and globally-minded group of educators. The sessions were characterised by engaging and insightful discussions, the sharing of best practice and high-quality resources, and a strong focus on tackling common curriculum challenges to better support our learners.

These professional learning experiences are always incredibly rewarding, and it is inspiring to see such commitment to continuous improvement in teaching and learning. Thank you for giving up your valuable time to support your students.

Looking ahead, we're excited about the journey we continue to take together.

New Think-Ins for the new academic year will be added here in due course, so please keep an eye out for this. We will also be adding a new Think-In for new and aspiring Heads of Department, so watch this space!

FT Schools and InThinking webinar

A huge thank you to everyone who joined our webinar on 30th March, co-hosted by FT Schools and InThinking.

Paper 1 pre-release statement (May 2026 exam)

Unsurprisingly, our most visited page last month was the Paper 1 pre-release statement for the May 2026 examination (Abraca), with 9553 visits during the past month.

Teachers can activate Student Access from the homepage to let students explore the ATL activities, lesson ideas, embedded videos, tri-dominoes, interactive quizzes, top tips,  self-marked Quizlets, exam practice questions, and other resources in preparation for the May 2026 Paper 1 exam.

A full Paper 1 case study has been added to the site page. This resource is authored by Benjamin Hansen, Head of Humanities at Shanghai Qibao Dwight High School, China. It includes a full mock exam, mark scheme, student script, and data from 25 InThinking Business Management workshop participants who marked this script.
