September 2025 Updates and Notices

Welcome to the September Newsletter!
Some updates to the website during the past month include:
New interactive Quizlet activities have been added to the following sections of the website:
- Unit 1.4 Conflict between stakeholders here (scroll to the bottom of the site page).
- Unit 3.4 Balance sheets here.
- Unit 5.7 Crisis management and contingency planning (HL only) here.
- BMT 12 Force field analysis (HL only) here.
- A new set of Flashcards and Quizlet for Unit 5.3 Methods of lean production has been added here.
- A new set of Flashcards and Quizlet for BMT 13 Critical path analysis (HL only) has been added here.

Other updates include to InThinking Business Management include:
- The pre-release statement for the November 2025 examination (SL and HL) has been released on My IB. Teachers and students can bookmark this page for easy access to resources that will be added over the next two months regarding the Walkway Ltd (WW) pre-release statement. WW specializes in manufacturing kinetic floor tiles that generate electricity when stepped on. At the time of writing, there are 8 ATL Activities and 40 exam practice questions to keep your students busy and engaged with the pre-release.
- A new Paper 2 exam practice question based on Japan’s Shinkansen has been added here. You probably knew the Shinkansen (a network of high-speed railway lines in Japan) is famous for its punctuality but did you know it has carried over 10 billion passengers without a single fatality caused by a crash or derailment in over 60 years?
- A new revision summary sheet (in PDF) format for Unit 5.3 (Lean production) can be accessed here.
- Get an overview of everything you need to know about the new Extended Essay(first exams 2027) here. This includes activities for supervisors and students, including a True or False Quiz, advice on the new Reflection and Progress Form (RPF), and a Tri-dominoes activity!
