June 2025 Notices and Updates
Monday 2 June 2025

Welcome to the June 2025 Newsletter!
At InThinking, we hope the recent May 2025 exams went well for your students. Our WhatsApp group was certainly very active with teachers discussing (after the 24-hour rule) the questions in Paper 1 and Paper 3 in particular. As many students and teachers wait in anticipatation of the examination results, work continues at InThinking to support students in DP1 and those in November centres.
During the past month, we welcomed our 2709th teacher and 31 614th student to the InThinking Business Management website. These are new milestones for us, and we truly appreciate your ongoing support. 🙏
Some of the site updates include:
- Additional revision tips for the exams here, following lessons learned from the M25 exams, such as the importance of learning the various theories and theorists in the syllabus.
- A new Paper 2 Section A exam practice question and mark scheme here. This has been created and shared by Dr. Rima Puri. The content covers Unit 3.8 Investment appraisal, including the calculations of the PBP, ARR, and NPV. Many thanks, Dr. Rima for your continued support of the InThinking Business Management community.
- A new Paper 2 Section B exam practice question and mark scheme has been created and shared by Shweta Chiplunkar of Fountainhead School in Gujarat, India. The resource can be accessed here. Thank you so much for your support, Shweta.
- IB educator Tarren Mulligan, who teaches at Ruamrudee International School Bangkok, Thailand has created and shared a great way to introduce and embed BMT 11 (Hofstede's cultural dimensions) with your students, providing possible insights into the cultural norms for each of your classes. My sincere thanks to Tarren for creating and sharing this with the InThinking Business Management community here.
- Some additional suggestions for embedding Creativity as a key concept have been added here (scroll down to the "Creativity - Integrating the key concepts with the syllabus" tab). These activities are easily adaptable to suit the needs of your own students.
- Exciting changes are coming in time for the new academic year, including new Quizlets that will be embedded to the website, an updated section dedicated to the new Extended Essay, and a fully annotated Internal Assessment to provide you and your students with further guidance.
