Paper 1 pre-release statement for M25 launched: Myt PLC (Myt)

The latest pre-release statement for the Paper 1 exam was published on 4th February 2025 on My IB. Teachers can  activate Student Access from the homepage to enable their students to access ATL Activities, lesson ideas, quizzes, top tips, exam practise questions, and other resources that will be populated here in time for the May 2025 Paper 1 examination.

Please note the resources on InThinking are independent of the May 2025 Paper 1 Case Study Pack available from Level7 Education.

The Paper 1 exam, unlike in previous iterations of the IB syllabus, is now a common paper for SL and HL candidates. This means there will not be any HL extension or HL only content in this exam paper.

This session's Paper 1 exam is about a multinational company, Myt PLC (Myt), that manufactures non-alcoholic drinks. It has production facilities in six continents, with its head office in the USA.

The ATL activities and resources for this pre-release can be found here. You may wish to bookmark this as resources will be added during the next two months to help students prepare for the Paper exam.
