課題論文（Extended Essay)のプログラムが改訂されました。新しいカリキュラムは2027年5月試験から適用されます。 主な変更点 ー従来の「科目に特化した道筋」に加えて「学際的な道筋」が可能になります。2つの科目に渡る研究ですが、現在は日本語で執筆することは認められていません。英語、フランス語、スペイン語のみで執筆することが可能です。 ー「生徒が主体」という概念が強調されています。旧プログラムでの指導教員（Supervisor)は、アドバイザー（Advisor)という役割に変わります。新プログラムでは生徒が主体的に研究課題を選択し。論文を進めていきます。アドバイザーは文字通り種々のアドバイスを与えるだけです。
