Approaches to learning
IB Business Management uses an inquiry-based approach to learning. This means that you are encouraged not simply to learn information, but also to ask questions, investigate real-world business issues, consider different perspectives, and reach reasoned conclusions.
Throughout the course, you will develop important Approaches to Learning (ATL) skills: thinking, communication, social, self-management, and research skills. These will help you with your study of Business Management, your Internal Assessment (IA), your Extended Essay, and your wider engagement with the IB Diploma Programme.
