Introduction to the site
This is a short guide to the student pages of the InThinking Biology site. In this section students access learning activities, revision resources and other resources giving expert guidance tailored for students of Biology at SL and at HL.
This page shows all of the resources sections available to students, and of course teachers.
The eBook contains the syllabus details, and revision and review resources for each topic. The resources are organised in topics that are grouped by level, Molecules, Cells, Organisms and ecosystems.
Activities are longer, more detailed resources for learning which may be used by your teacher, but can also be viewed independently at any time.
These include short videos linked to the syllabus, questions to answer, and experiments to try.
Assessment section contains advice about the exams, and how to answer them well. There is a whole section devoted to the IA.
Several pages guide you to find an individual research question.
There is a list of common errors to avoid and details of the assessment criteria.
Review / revision has revision quizzes, flashcards to help you learn biological terms, practice exam questions with model answers and more.
DP Essentials contains information about the DP Core from a Biology student perspective.
