Artificial Intelligence Cartoons (A Body of Work)

This week, we are continuing our work with artificial intelligence.  We originally posted a set of lessons titled “The Language of Artificial Intelligence.”  The goal was to get students to see how writers use words and images to position AI in a certain light.  We then created another set of lessons on ”How CNN Presents the Dangers of Artificial Intelligence."  Those lessons ask students to understand the news in a bit more detail and how CNN uses words and images to depict AI as detrimental to society.

Now, we are publishing a non-literary body of work.  The following resources and materials have been put together as a set of 10 lessons around the cartoons of Jeff Koterba specifically addressing artificial intelligence.  We are publishing the first 3 lessons today, with more lessons to come in the next month.  By the end, you will have a complete unit of study to use in your class!

Best,

Tim and David
