Getting Started: Teachers

Welcome to InThinking’s IBDP English A: Language and Literature website!

We are so happy to have you join us.  We’ve worked hard as site authors to make this place a welcoming and inclusive community of teachers and we hope you feel that warmth as you navigate your way around the various pages.

You’ll also notice that this website is designed as a one-stop shop for all of your Language and Literature needs!  You’ll find everything you can think of for teaching the course: teaching resources, materials, and lessons; assessment information and exemplars; course design explanations and examples; and much, much more!

A paid subscription to the site includes not only teachers, but also students.  Just sign up for “Student Access” to provide your classes with the same materials you get.  The rest of the pages under this heading are designed to help you find your way around our site.

Finally, we know English teachers are crunched for time.  We genuinely hope this website will save you time, ease your cognitive load, and be a pleasure for you to use!

Best,

Tim and David
