May 2026 Paper 2: Sample Response 2 (Q2)
This Paper 2 essay is a standard student response. The student does everything teachers ask of them in the course. They respond to the question. They provide evidence. They know their literary works. It is author focused. It mentions and analyzes some of the author’s choices. They write enough and balance their response.
So why doesn’t it score higher? To answer that question, you will want to click on the exemplar below and have students follow the series of questions in the post.
