This week, we are publishing another Paper 2 exemplar.  We think it is best used in conjunction with the May 2024 Paper 2: Sample Response 7 we recently published.  Why?  Comparing and contrasting these two essays will allow your students – especially those who struggle with writing comparative literary essays – to see the difference between analysis and description.  For many of our students, this is a tough adjustment to make and for those particular students, having exemplars that feel within reach is important.   Students will also note how one writer answers the question and the other writer dances around the question.
