This week, we are publishing our 6th Paper 2 sample response from the May 2024 examination cycle.  Subscribers can access the new exemplar by clicking on the link below in the blue box.  

This exemplar is is a pretty standard response.  The candidate does well to focus on the question.  They also make sure to focus on the writer and the representation of female heroism in both works.  But it is lacking in details and misses out on opportunities to compare and contrast.  

Comparing and contrasting this exemplar with Sample Response 5 may be a good use of class time.  Why?  Sample Response 5 goes into much greater depth and detail using the same question and the same two literary works. There's just more precision all around in Sample Response 5.
