The IB has released the grading criteria for Paper 2, first exams in May 2026.  To get your hands on the new grading criteria, you will need to login to My IB.  Once you have logged in, do the following:

     Click "Programme Resource Centre." 

     Click "Diploma Programme." 

     Click "Language A: Language and Literature." 

     And finally, under "In Practice" click the 3rd link, a document titled "Diploma Programme language A: literature  and language and literature (Summary of changes for teachers)."  This is the document you want!  It has the full, complete and updated grading criteria for Paper 2 as well as FAQs about the changes. 

You can also find an excel version of the Prescribed Reading List as the 4th link under "In Practice."  The IB has published a full excel version of the PRL as the web only version has been a bit wonky of late.  We encourage you to download it!
