Greta Thunberg Speeches - A Body of Work

Thursday 4 May 2023

This week, we are starting to add a set lessons around Greta Thunberg speeches.  The speeches come from 2018-2020 and specifically address climate change in some form.

Please note, she has delivered a ton of speeches!  These are nine curated ones, from her vast oeuvre, but you may want to add or delete any that you want.  There are so many more to choose from and you may have a favorite that is not included here.

You’ll find the materials and resources housed under “Readers, writers and texts.”  This week, we are publishing:

Lesson 1

Lesson 2

Lesson 3

The homepage that contains all nine speeches (the body of work) that will be used for this unit of study.

Two weeks from now, we will publish lessons 4-7 and lessons 8-10 with an optional 11th lesson will follow shortly after.  We hope this body of work suits you and if it doesn’t, don’t forget to check out our “Bodies of Work – A Curated List” page to find something that does.  There are over 30 bodies of work from 16 different text types!

Finally, good luck to all of those students who are sitting their May 2023 Paper 1 and Paper 2 exams!

Best,

Tim and David
