A new author for the website
My name is David McIntyre, and I will be taking over the running of the website from Brad. From what I can see, Brad has clearly done a wonderful job in establishing and building this site. I hope that I am able to emulate Brad's exceptional work and that, over time, I can add to what Brad has created, ensuring that the website remains a place that Language and Literature teachers, whether new or experienced, continue to visit.
I currently teach at the United World College of South East Asia, in Singapore. In one of my roles, I am the Coordinator for the Language and Literature programme, in English. I also worked on the curriculum development team that established the Language and Literature course. I am an IB workshop leader, an examiner, and I was, for a number of years, the IB OCC faculty member for English A2.
I am really looking forward to further developing the website. I hope, too, that readers will continue ask questions, express opinions, and suggest ways in which the website can continue to evolve. Here's to new beginnings!
