This site is designed to help you succeed in your IB English B examination. Your teacher will direct you to pages with relevant content and activities for each of the topics that you are studying. Also, the pages below will help you to learn more about IB English B and also introduce you to the skills needed to be a confident and successful English B student. We wish you all the best!
Teachers! Please note that all content on the Student-Access pages will also help you plan and deliver the course. Many of the pages you know and love are still here; we've just opened them up to students as well.
Below is how you will see the site:
In this site you will be able to learn about the course and exam components. Also you can practice for your internal and external exams and skills needed for the course to be successful.
You can practice your vocabulary and grammar while also learning how to practice the Paper 2 Listening and Reading with practice activities and built in question banks.
Also, for paper 1 writing you will learn how to decode the prompts, read samples, decode the rubrics, learn how to tackle the text types, and practice with built in writing prompts with sections for your teacher to grade.
You can practice independently or in tasks that your teacher assigns.
Once you have completed the tasks, you can see your results (in case of smart quizzes) or you will have to wait for your teacher to give you feedback (this happens for written tasks).
