I don"t very often come across clear evidence that a student is using notes effectively and with a sense of clear purpose. Of course, notes often get thrown away - and anyway notes don"t have to be clear to anyone else, so enigmatic scribbles may in fact be purposeful and effective to the writer. So I was pleased to come across this example, because it so clearly demonstrates the process of using notes to think efficiently.
