Think-Ins - Further Professional Development

Think-In
A "Think-In" is a dedicated forum for thoughtful discussion and collaborative inquiry. We offer a series of these music-specific seminars on a regular basis to provide ongoing professional development for educators. These sessions are designed as non-IB certified virtual seminars, allowing for a flexible and focused exploration of topics that complement the curriculum covered in official IB workshops.

As the name implies, the primary objective of a Think-In is to foster a deeper understanding of specific pedagogical areas through reflective dialogue and the sharing of best practices. Led by one of the site authors (see HERE for the biographies of each), our Think-Ins are intensive learning experiences, offered in flexible formats of 3, 4, or 6 hours, which may be scheduled over one or two days to accommodate diverse needs.
The Think-Ins normally come in one of three forms:
- Keys to Success in Assessment
- Focus on Key Aspects of Content
- Crash Courses for New IB Teachers
