Playing games with numbers is not that popular among language teachers - we"re literate, dammit, not numerate! But the English B teacher is almost certain to have some highly numerate students in any class, so it is worth exploring how we can use numbers to stimulate language and to raise issues. It"s easy enough ... and you can leave any complicated maths involved to the afore-mentioned number freaks!
