By describing this area as "Manipulating structure" I am trying to avoid any phrase like "imaginative use of structure" - because the poor word "imaginative" has been so over-used that it is too run-down, threadbare, over-burdened, blurred, glamourised, caricaturised, pretentious and weary to mean anything useful any more. But that doesn"t mean to say that what is commonly called "imagination" doesn"t exist...
