Simulation IA
Although it is usually best to perform a hands-on experiment for the IA, in some cases it might be necessary to use a simulation instead. How can you do this?
Before committing to using the simulation below, make sure you have approval from your teacher.
The following is a simulation of a popular IA experiment in which you use a battery and ammeter to measure the resistivity of a graphite strip. You should be able to move the red and black leads along the graphite strip.
Approach this simulation the same way that you woud approach a hands-on investigation: collect adequate and sufficient data, figure out how to analyze it, and be sure to connect your results to physics theory. Good luck!
