From the Subject Guide: While CAS is not an area that you need to explicitly consider in your day-to-day teaching, it's helpful to keep this page as a glossary of what students are referring to when they bring it up in class. It can also be a useful motivator for students to volunteer in subject clinics for younger year groups, or for helping you on open days for the school!
