A2 practical: Spinning stopper support
I use an old pen as the tube and fishing line as string. The fishing line is quite low friction however it would be better to use a glass tube with the end made rounded by heating (you can do this in the chemistry lab), this reduces friction considerably. Having said that its not a bad idea to use less than ideal equipment since it gives the students something to improve on. Its difficult to see that the string stays...
