B5 practical: EMF and internal resistance support
This practical would be easier to perform if you had two multimeters per student pair but I don't so I have described it using only one multimeter. I also don't have any variable resistors so I am use a length of resistance wire instead. This works well and reinforces the relationship between resistance and length. Reminds me of the meter bridges we used when I was at school, maybe your physics lab still has them....
