Exam preparation guide

Some advice to help your students prepare for the external assessment

For schools writing the May exams, the countdown is on! IB Physics exams are April 28 and 29. To help students prepare, we put together an exam preparation guide. The guide includes:

  • An overview of the external assessment
  • Tips for the multiple-choice questions on Paper 1A and the problems on Papers 1B and 2
  • Strategies for tackling proportional reasoning and dimensional analysis questions
  • A few words about the affective side of writing the exam
