IB Group days in Prague

I (Emma) booked a trip to Prague two weeks ago. The next day, I picked up Dan Brown's latest Robert Langdon thriller, The Secret of Secrets, not realising it was set in the city!

I'm here with my family because vast swathes of artworks by film director extraordinaire David Lynch are on show at DOX's Up in Flames exhibition - and because my parental leave gives me a (soon-to-conclude) chance to travel outside of school holidays.

Now in the old town (and rapidly trying to acquire some Czech vocabulary!), I'm learning about Prague's connections to physics: Kepler's first two laws of planetary motion and Doppler's wave frequency principle were formulated here, and Charles University was host for two years to none other than Einstein.

With literature, art, language acquisition and science already underway, I'll also be sure to check out the mathematical clock's hourly display - and many other tourist sites besides. If you have any recommendations, especially if connected to one or more IB Groups, please let me know!
