See you in Dublin?
Monday 2 October 2023
As a former Derry Girl, I'm delighted to be heading back to Ireland (after a summer of hillwalking) for IB Global Conference.
This year, the Conference takes place from Thursday 5th to Sunday 8th October in Dublin with the theme Education for an inclusive future.
You can catch me in a session I am running with our textbook editor at Pearson: Friday 6th October at 1345 in The Forum.
I'll also regularly visit the InThinking stand (Table 21) to keep StudyIB Chemistry author Paul Lloyd company.
While I'm here, these are some of the recent and ongoing InThinking Physics projects:
- Making Teaching Sequences for the 2023 Guide with a full suite of Teacher plans and Student resources
- Publishing our first Enrich your Physics articles that exemplify how to link concepts: Supernovae, neutrinos and IceCube, Is the Earth's magnetic field about to flip? and A physicist's take on disc golf
- Updating our content on Internal Assessment and Examinations - to be completed after the applicable Global Conference session at 1115 on Saturday (where I hope to soak up all of the latest info)
- Adding more content on the new additions to the 2023+ Guide (e.g. notes on rotational dynamics)
