Most teachers will hold some sort of a vote so students can choose which option to study. Because my course is student centred, they get to choose. The idea of the options is so that students can go a bit deeper into an area that interests them, forcing the whole class to follow the teacher means that not all students will be interested. So I will be doing all 4 options at the same time, starting today. Most chose relativity, engineering is next popular then a couple of astro and maybe one imaging. Engineering is conceptually easiest but has some of the most difficult questions, relativity is the reverse. The exam questions for astro are almost always the same and imaging is a lot of careful drawing.
