Time and tide is waiting

Carrying on from my experiments with waves in Algodoo I thought I'd have a go at the tides. I had a look at the available resources in Algobox but couldn't find what I wanted. The simulations available had the Moon orbiting the Earth but the daily tides are due to the rotation of the Earth. I tried putting water onto a sphere the rotating it next to an attractive mass, the Moon. The problem is that there are two high tides each day, one on the Moon side and one on the other. In my simulation I get only one bulge, on the moon side. The rotating Moon examples had the same problem. Maybe if I add an orbiting Moon to a rotating Earth it might be more realistic, in the mean time I'll pause the simulation.
