Happy holidays

Last week it snowed which meant I got a chance to dust off my snow board. Needed more than a dusting, as it happens, since it was stored behind my Spitfire (The classic car not the plane). Old cars don't burn fuel particularly well so there tends to be a lot of soot in the exhaust and it's this soot that was coating the board. The snow was pretty good for a day but then the rain started so its not looking so good for the start of the Christmas holiday which starts today. Quite glad it's holiday time as it means I get more time to work on my other projects. First priority is to get the books finished. Both books will also be in e-book format which means lots of extra resources, custom made animations, video clips, and revision sheets. It's the revision sheets that I'm working on now, they are basically all the facts with out any explanation. Makes me realise how much of the book is taken over by explaining stuff. After that I have to edit the HL text into an SL version, then write worksheets for all the compulsory labs. When that's done I'm going to spend some time preparing resources for my workshop in March. The plan is to write some sample investigations that can be used for marking exercises and discussion. I'll also be posting these materials on the website which will soon have a shadow, containing all material relevant for the new curriculum. happy holidays.
