New year's poor resolution

I live in a house just next to the college so walk to work every morning. It's pretty dark at eight o'clock so had to pick my way carefully past the rocks and roots that line the steep path past the haunted house. A couple of years ago I broke my leg walking to work so can't be too careful. As I emerged into the light I noticed how still the fjord was as it perfectly reflected the distant street lights. The sound of a motor boat followed by the crunch of ice reminded me it was still winter even though all the snow disappeared about a week ago. Then something interesting happened, as the waves from the boat moved across the water the light reflected off the peaks forming a series of dots. I tried to take a photo with my camera but it didn't come out too well. You can see the lights in the distance, well the lines of light reflecting off the water are actually made of dots. I guess the resolution of my phone's camera just wasn't good enough.
