We are six pie eaters

My last post was about the imminent demise of my tablet PC. Hopefully it will last long enough for me to finish my current project which is to complete answers pages for the November 2011 and May 2012 exams. I written out full solutions for all the papers since the syllabus change in 2009. Here's an example May 2009. I decided to do these since the marking schemes are sometimes difficult to follow and don't really put the solution in context. My solutions are a bit more complete including a bit mor information than one would expect in an exam. I also include side comments (in red). The reason I do these on my tablet is that they'd simply take too long to do with typing symbols and drawing diagrams with a mouse. The question in the image is about units using the stoke Law formula F=6πηvr. In the old days when we had to memorise formulae i used to remember this one by rearranging it to vr6πη which if you say ot sounds like we are six pie eaters. I've just had a case of deja vu, I'm sure I've blogged about this before. I've got 3 first year IB physics classes at the moment so deja vu is becoming an everyday before experience.

Seems that it was deja vu, I just searched the site and there has been no previous reference to pie eaters which means I probably haven't mentioned the two Ronnies before either. They did a clever sketch called "Swedish made simple" where the spoke in words of one letter. I was trying to explain this to my class today but i don't think they got it. N E way I found this clip on youtube.

This was a very long time b4 txting.
