Away from school

This term I am running 3 workshops in Turkey, Geneva and Berlin. This means I am away from school for quite a few days. It wouldn’t be so many if it didn’t take so long to travel. No matter where I go I almost always have to add a day’s travelling either end. This week I’m going to Izmir in Turkey. Drive to Flekke > Bus to Rysjedalsvika > boat to Bergen (where the photo was taken) > Bus to airport >plane to Copenhagen > plane to Munich > plane to Izmir.  Feels a bit bad leaving my classes in the second week of term but there we go. Creating this website has made me super organised though. If I go away I just get them to read the relevant section in the book answering all the exercises. They then do the multiple choice questions on this website followed by the problems associated with the unit they are studying and watch some video clips. When I get back I give them a test. I should go away more often.
