Danny Doucette has been teaching physics for about 20 years, including middle school, the IB Diploma, and introductory and intermediate university courses in Mongolia, Latvia, and the USA. He has also worked as an IB physics workshop leader and examiner. He recently returned home to Halifax, Canada, where he teaches DP Physics and the provincial curriculum at a public high school. In 2021, he completed a PhD in physics at the University of Pittsburgh, where his scholarship focused on laboratory learning and equity. Weekends find him tramping through the backwoods of Mi’kma’ki with his partner and kid, seeking serenity in old-growth forests.
I'm on Bluesky and post infrequently on my blog. Most of my academic work is available through Google Scholar.
