Susan Menand holds a master's degree in Spanish and a Bachelor of Arts in English. After graduating from university, Susan taught English and Spanish at IB Schools in Charlotte, North Carolina. She headed to Qatar in 2015 to teach IB Spanish and English.
She teaches English and TOK in Jakarta, Indonesia, and is the MYP Coordinator. Susan also serves as a DP examiner for the individual oral and paper 1. She also enjoys connecting with other teachers while leading Language B, English B, TOK, and ab initio workshops. Finally, she is a Programme Evaluation Leader for the MYP and DP as well as a reviewer of course outlines.
In her free time, Susan likes to listen to podcasts, travel with her family, and pretend to read.
