Inquiry: Biological etiologies

The biological approach to disorders focuses on the role of the brain, neurotransmitters, hormones, and genetics. Students are not required to know several biological explanations, but they should know one or more of the biological arguments for a disorder well. They should be able to explain the theory, provide evidence to support or refute the theory and evaluate the theory as an explanation of the disorder.
