Every year I start off my course by asking my first-year students why they want to take psychology. The responses range from personal interests in everything from child development to serial killers, but the most common answer is, "I don"t know. I am just really interested."There are several reasons to take a course in psychology. Below you will find some of my favorite reasons - but surely you could add more!
