Sociocultural explanations of GADThe sociocultural approach looks at the role of environmental factors in Generalized anxiety disorder [GAD]. This is a holistic approach to understanding the disorder. Sociocultural researchers look at the role of protective and risk factors - in what is called a vulnerability model.
