DP essentials

The International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) curriculum is made up of six subject groups and the Diploma Programme (DP) core. The DP core consists of three components: Theory of Knowledge (ToK), the Extended Essay (EE) and Creativity–Activity–Service (CAS). They are designed to build critical thinking, broaden learning, and encourage real-world application outside the classroom. It is a requirement of the programme that all three DP core components must be satisfactorily completed by a student attempting to earn an IB Diploma.
