AI and the maze metaphor
Given the right kind of training, AI systems can be configured to produce works of art. We usually regard the capability of producing art a skill - that is 'knowing how' rather than ‘knowing that’. On this website we use the maze metaphor to highlight the fact that skills are non-linguistic and that this kind of knowledge is about successful performance not about true statements. But AI does not seem to get its skill...
