Fifteen years ago, when I started teaching at school, I had no idea what the Theory of Knowledge (ToK) was, but I quickly found my passion for it, and this fascination continues to inspire my teaching journey. Over these years, I've also taught Psychology, drawing on my experience as an academic. I've held several significant roles, including CAS and EE Coordinator, DP Coordinator, and Erasmus+ project coordinator at Międzynarodowe LO Paderewski in Lublin, Poland, where I teach. I strive to foster an environment where students think critically and independently and grow and develop as students and as humans.
As an IB Educator Network (IBEN) member, I serve as a workshop leader, examiner, and evaluator. My contributions to education extend beyond the classroom through active collaboration with Polish NGOs such as Szkoła z Klasą, Fundacja Think!, and Program Projektor. Known for my enthusiasm, meticulous approach, and strong organizational and analytical skills, I was honoured to be nominated for the Teacher of the Year award in 2018 and received the EduInspirator award in 2019.
In addition to my teaching roles, I hold a PhD in Psychology, which enriches my approach to both ToK and psychology education. My involvement with the SuperBelfrzy group, an informal network of Poland's most innovative teachers, keeps me at the forefront of educational innovation and excellence.
Beyond my professional commitments, I find joy in spending time in my garden, reading and participating in projects that promote innovative education. My work aims to inspire students and colleagues alike, nurturing a love for learning and critical thinking in every educational endeavour.
