To test the hypothesis that the cracking of rocks is related to their specific heat capacity you need to know which rock cracks most easily as well as measuring the specific heat capacity.

Los of comparison but not so many relationships.

Observation is good.

Discussion is good.

It's great to learn from your mistakes but you need to know they were mistakes.
