The other week I was in Barcelona running a category 1 workshop with OCC regular Danny Doucette. We work well as a team, sharing the same enthusiasm for teaching but at very different stages in our careers. I used to make repeated references to Mexicans and their hats (viewed from above) but to add an international dimension I try to include hats fom all over the world hence (or otherwise) the hat collection. Attempting to add to my collection, I often drop hints to my students but maybe I'm too cryptic, I rarely get any gifts. Danny picked up on the hints and bought me a Latvian hat, so thanks for 'hat.

Note in the photo that my students are so busy they haven't noticed the hats yet.
