DP Music in Your Language
The IB promotes education in one's mother tongue, and therefore if English is NOT your first language and you would like to view the materials here in your vernacular or another language in which you feel comfortable, please follow the steps below in order to see all the materials in another language.

As you navigate your way through this site, you may find what you may think are inconsistencies in the use of the English language. George Benard Shaw said, "England and America are two countries separated by a common language."
Keep in mind the diversity of the site authors. One's native country is Australia and the other author comes from The United States, The use of the English language is intentionally interchanged on this site as we hope it mirrors the diversity of an International Baccalaureate education. Therefore you might see programme mixed with program, or center mixed with centre, or quaver mixed with eight note.
Regardless of language, let's keep in mind that music is a universal language, and despite these grammar differences, the spirit, diversity, and heart of music can be felt throughout the site
