Alex Smith is a teacher and former Head of Economics at Sevenoaks School. He is a senior examiner in Economics and the Extended Essay with the International Baccalaureate. He is a co-author of the InThinking Economics website and has written several textbooks. Alex is a contributor to the Financial Times schools section. His interests include: politics, reading, football, music, the guitar, the economy and cycling.
