Unit 3.4(1) Economics of inequality and poverty

Equality in economics refers to the same economic outcomes for different people in society. We often consider equality in how the income generated by a country"s economic activity is shared amongst the country’s population. The circular flow of income model tells us that a country"s GDP produces an income distributed to different households of that country. However, the model does not tell us how the income is shared.
