Paper two makes up 30% of the final grade at Higher level and 40% at Standard level. This paper now contains just two questions and candidates are required to answer one of these in one hour and 45 minutes. The paper includes richer and varied stimulus materials (much longer in length than under the existing syllabus), a greater number of questions (a-g) and also includes contextualized, quantitative elements.
